Why are they calling it a "Corporate Gateway?"
In the February 2004 issue of Columbus CEO, OSU Airport was advertised as "Central Ohio's
Corporate Gateway" offering Business Services, Car Rental, Air Charter, FAA Certified Repair
Station and Professional Line Service.
The advertisement was also published in the 2003 Yellow Pages and can be viewed here. The 20 year Capital Improvement Program, outlined in the OSU Airport Master Plan Update will move corporate (jet service) to the North side of the Airport. The Capital Improvement Program (Chapter 6, Table 6-1, p 6-4) lists construction of a multi phased North Side Corporate Development including corporate hangars, a rental car facility, a terminal, North service buildings and a jet fuel facility. All this and NO PLAN for the additional car and truck traffic these improvements will generate on St. Rt. 161.
