Dear WOOSE subscribers,

As of February 1, 2007 the WOOSE website will no longer accept noise complaints.

Complaints concerning OSU aircraft operations should be e-mailed to noise@osuairport.org or
submitted by phoned at (614)292-9055. Complaints submitted by email could include a cc (carbon
copy) to info@woose.org. We suggest you keep a retrievable record of your complaints as a record
may become important in the future.

The reason for this change is two-fold:
1.OSU Airport has established a complaint procedure, and the time has come for OSU Airport to
shoulder the burden and responsibility of accurately collecting, documenting and reporting aircraft
complaints
2. Despite past published reports and assurances that OSU airport would respond to complaints
submitted via the WOOSE system, OSU airport and Ms. Ferrari have publicly stated the airport will
not respond to complaints submitted through the WOOSE system.

Between now and Feb 1, 2007, WOOSE computer specialists are working to:
1. Modify the website to enable you to access all your complaints and sent the most recent (last
30 days) on to OSU via e-mail.
2. Provide directions for submitting complaints to OSU.
3. Provide directions for submitting your complaints anonymously to OSU.
4. Put together a list of recommended/optional complaint procedures.

WOOSE wishes to thank you for your time, effort and continued support in reporting problem aircraft.
We've been at this for quite a while. In fact, the first complaint submitted to WOOSE was on
11/12/04- more than 2 years ago. Your observations and the data you provided have been extremely
valuable in examining, researching and understanding aircraft operations in our neighborhoods and
communities.

Our work, however, is not complete. Please continue to provide OSU with observations and data about
problem aircraft. Doing so will help us all. Please be assured the WOOSE website will continue; and
with your support, our efforts to understand and address concerns about OSU airport will continue.

A letter to the editors of local papers has been submitted announcing this change. Because of word
limits and possible editing, we have no control over the final letter printed. If your friends and
neighbors have questions, please explain this change or suggest they visit our website
http://www.woose.org/ after 2/1/07 or send us an e-mail at info@woose.org.
